When cleaning tile and grout we put down a lot of detergent, let it soak, and do some serious scrubbing.  We scrub everything with a heavy floor machine then we scrub the grout lines with a grout brush.  Everything is thoroughly extracted with hot water.  Sealing the grout afterwards makes keeping it clean a lot easier.

We clean a lot of LVT (luxury vinyl tile) flooring.  We use a less aggressive method but still rely on the same steam cleaning tactics.
