Every carpet cleaning or steam cleaning involves four basic elements: 

1) Pre-vacuuming the carpet to remove as much lose debris as possible.

2)  Pre-spraying the carpets with a detergent that is designed to soften up the dirt and stains.

3)  Agitation of the carpet to help the pre-spray work its way into the carpet and further break up stains.

4)  Hot water extraction or steam cleaning to rinse the carpet.  This last step removes all the detergent sprayed on the carpet along with the dirt.

Most of the stains will come out.  Some stains will require extra work at no additional charge.  Unfortunately, the traffic patterns will remain.

We clean LVT (luxury vinyl tile) flooring in much the same way.  Cleaning LVT plank flooring has become a common request with customers.
